'Pie of Pies'
Rosemary was in Melton Mowbray to judge the 2010 British Pie Awards hosted by the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie Association on Wednesday, 19th May. This national celebration of British Pies in all their varieties had 711 entries, 55 of which were judged by Rosemary in the Steak and Kidney Pie category. The Champion from each category competed for the title of Supreme Champion 'Pie of Pies'.

The Awards, sponsored by Colmans, celebrate the heritage of the British pie, protect and promote regional specialities, recognise the craft of bakers, butchers and other producers and support British produce. In an effort to reduce uneccessary waste the British Pie Awards work in conjunction with Fare Share, a company which distributes surplus food to the disadvantaged.
