Rosemary, Rhubarb and Custard.
Rosemary enjoyed a great day at the Wakefield Festival of Food, Drink and Rhubarb, demonstrating to the public and giving an after dinner speach at an event in aid of the Wakefield Hospice.
On Saturday 27th February 2010 Rosemary was at the heart of it all! It was her pleasure to be a guest at the Wakefield Rhubarb Festival demonstrating some fabulous recipes to the public at Wakefield Cathedral Precinct. Later she had the chance to sign books at Waterstones in the city centre.
Rosemary, Rhubarb and Custard was a ticket only event, held at the Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield in the evening, with all proceeds going to Wakefield Hospice, including funds raised from an auction on the night. A rhubarb theme was apparent throughout the evening in celebration of the festival and guests enjoyed a 3-course sit down meal, an after dinner speech from Rosemary and live entertainment.
