Head Chef

Growing up on an island in Scotland, Lee has always had a passion for seafood.

Given a rowing boat for his tenth birthday, he would pick winkles, whelks, mussels and catch mackerel; cooking the mackerel for breakfast before school. His first chef job was at Mount Stuart House on the Isle of Bute, later moving to Devon to work at a seafood restaurant.

In his current role, as Head Chef at the Rosemary Shrager Cookery School, Lee enjoys being able to share the skills and knowledge he’s gained throughout his career with the general public and seeing them grow in knowledge and confidence as their skills develop.
